THE HILLS REALLY ARE ALIVE!!

This morning we explored the beautiful town of PASSAU. Tom and I skipped the group tour, opting to wander on our own. The town has some beautiful walks along the rivers.
After lunch a dozen of us rented bicycles and headed over the bridge into Austria. We had a great 36km ride along the Danube. It was so incredibly beautiful and I couldn't help but start singing all my favorite songs from The Sound of Music.
We set sail again at 5:30, and we are still going through canals. Looking forward to tomorrow in Melk, Austria......doe, a deer, a female deer.......stay tuned......
