MARKSBURG CASTLE

This morning we headed out early for a tour of Marksburg castle, which overlooks the town of Braubach. This is the best preserved castle on the Rhine and is approximately 700 years old. It was incredible walking around the uneven stone floors, and touching the walls and wondering what all had gone on there.
