1,000 THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE.......AT LEAST DO ONE

Ok, so I bought this book at the thrift store a few years ago "1,000 things to do before you die" and number 217 said....If you only have high tea once in your life, have it at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Capetown, SA.

So we did, and oh my, my. 

The piano player even played "Somewhere over the rainbow" for me.

We had our own fireside parlour.....

John, our server, was wonderful.

I had been dreaming of these scones with raspberry jam and cream for days, weeks, years....

 

Needless to say we didn't need dinner tonight. Looking forward to leaving the city lights and heading north tomorrow......stay tuned
