LOVING LIFE ON THE RHINE

Returning to the ship after our castle tour, a special German lunch was waiting for us, with various beers to sample. We spent the afternoon mesmerized by the beautiful scenery. We passed village after village, and I could snap pictures continually, there was always something amazing around every bend....churches, steeples and spires sticking out from lush green patches, castles, towers....just awesome. We passed Pfalzgrafenstein fortress which sits on a rock in the middle of the river.
Just after dinner we went through a lock and headed up the Main River. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow.
